Biography


Internationally renowned writer, speaker, and former confidential advisor to executives and entrepreneurs worldwide, Leslie L. Kossoff has been cited by About.com as “one of the most intelligent and perceptive voices on executive and managerial leadership today.”  For over 20 years, she has assisted organizations ranging from Fortune 50s to start-ups, small and mid-sized firms in a broad range of industries and sectors in the United States, Japan and Europe.  Some of her clients include Fidelity Investments, Sony, TRW, Kraft Foods, Baxter Healthcare, the UK National Health Service, Seiko/Epson, 3M, Infonet and GM/Hughes.

She is the Founder and Publisher of Leadership Quantified, a new e-publishing and targeted services resource for start-ups, small and medium-sized businesses.

Leslie is the author of five books, including the award winning Executive Thinking: The Dream, The Vision, The Mission Achieved. The author of over one hundred articles in journals including the Financial Times and CEO Magazine, Leslie is frequently quoted in Entrepreneur, Investor’s Business Daily, the London Business School Journal Business Strategy Review and Across the Board magazine and is one of the original Brain Trust members and a regular guest for the award-winning “Small Business Advocate” website and radio program.  Jim Blasingame, its host, cites Leslie as “one of the top organizational thinkers for executives and business owners.”

A former executive in the aerospace/defense and pharmaceutical industries and professor of strategy, Leslie has provided testimony to the Parliament of the United Kingdom on manufacturing and small business development and procurement policies.  She is a founding Board member of the Global Women’s Leadership Center at Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business, serves as an Advisor to the Boards of Cordville Capital Ltd. and ArtiWit S.A.S., is on the Advisory Council of the Russia Research Network and the Enterprise Trust think tanks (UK), is the founder and former Director of the Institute for Quality and Productivity Improvement at California State University, Long Beach, has been a member of the Judges Panel for the Sterling Award for Quality in California and is included in the Who’s Who Registry of Global Leaders, among others.

Leslie is a member of the Reform Club and a Freeman of the City of London.
